The airline’s initiatives focus mainly on youth education and the environment. has run a number of community programmes and has made a wide range of charitable donations, providing charities with flight tickets, other in-kind donations and professional advice.
Cathay Pacific has been awarded the Caring Company Logo every year since the Caring Company Scheme was launched by the Hong Kong Council of Social Service in 2003. The airline won the top honour, the Total Caring Award, in 2010, while 2014 marked the third consecutive year for the airline to receive the 10 Years Plus Caring Company Logo for its continued efforts in caring for the well-being of the community, its employees and the environment.
